Compassion International – Releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name
Compassion is a child-sponsorship organization that is Christ-centered, church-based and child-focused. Founded by Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion is dedicated to the long-term development of children in poverty around the world. Cru – Campus Crusade for Christ International
Founded in 1951 by Bill and Vonette Bright, Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) in a nonprofit organization helping students come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and share His good news. “Let’s journey together”, Cru is a community dedicated to connecting people to Jesus and growing in discipleship. Since starting, Cru has expanded from college campuses in America to ministries all over the world. International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ)
IFCJ is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein (1951-2019) and is currently headed by President and CEO Yael Eckstein. The Fellowship is passionate about reconciling Jewish and Christian peoples and blessing Israel and the Jewish people with humanitarian care and life-saving aid. IFCJ has a long history of helping thousands of Jews escape poverty and anti-Semitism, and return to their biblical homeland. They have a variety of programs that target different needs such as delivering food, medical care, providing safety, housing, assistance in immigration, and educating people in and advocating for Israel and the Jewish people.
